About the Role:

 

Responsible for assigned compliance risk management activities in support of the Compliance Program and under the direction of Compliance Officers and/or Managers.  Provides support in the administration of components of the bank's overall Compliance Management System, including complaint management, advertising and disclosure reviews, and CRA-related activities.  Plays a role in execution of monitoring of various compliance controls, and may complete research in support of compliance position responses to various business unit questions on consumer protection regulatory requirements.

 

  • Perform assigned compliance functions as outlined in the Compliance Program Standards Manual utilizing existing tools and processes.
  • Develop knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations that impact the Bank, as well as, specific business units' operations, products, and systems.
  • Responsible for completing assigned consumer protection regulation and other compliance risk management training.
  • Duties assigned and based on processes outlined in the Compliance Program Standards Manual in support of the Bank’s Compliance Management System and CRA Program.
  • Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained..
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

About You:

 

  • H.S. Diploma/GED. Required
  • Less than 2 years of banking and/or banking compliance/operations experience. Preferred.
  • Possess proficiency in the use of standard office software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point, etc.
  • Ability to manage high-volume of assignments and deadlines.
  • Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.

 

 

Workstyle: Fully onsite.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $25.38 - $31.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
